Yes, this is excellent advice. We don't have these type of outlets
often in the United States, but they are common in Asia.
It does sound like there's a missing connection somewhere. I had
trouble with my adapter when I first got my BN. They replaced it. If
your BN is under warrantee, then call your distributor and get the
adapter cord replaced.
