That's not unusual Ethan.
My b n went in for a new battery and update in Nov Of this past
year. I got it back around the middle of January or so.
I'm sure that sometimes they do have to order stock and also I've
heard that very often there's a waiting list for certain things.

Hello all,
In reply to Mike's email, I also have had trouble with HumanWare
lately.
I sent my Mpower 7.0 in to HumanWare on March 21 and they didn't
get a look at it until March 28. They told me that my braille
display had gone bad and they did not have any in stock so had to
get one from New Zealand. I called HumanWare yesterday on April
13 and they said that they still didn't have the display. My
question is, is something big happening at HumanWare that they do
not have the time to look at Braillenotes that are sent in? And
why haven't they got the braille display? I am not asking for
exact answers just wondering why HumanWare is acting slow right
now?
