Hello Mr. Lingard,
Thank you very much for your response. After reading the messages from Joseph Lee and Mary Ellen Earls, I feel that the announcement for the reader was not very clear. Nowhere in the announcement does it say the reader is a stand-alone unit to be used with a computer as Joseph Lee stated. (However, I'm not sure about the validity of that statement, because Humanware has not responded.) What the announcement seems to imply is that it's necessary to own this reader to be able to access Daisy Books and files from Book Share or other on-line book, radio, or music sources. Since these advertisements from Humanware are the glue that sticks us to our devices, I think Humanware would be better served if all of them were written clearly stating what they were really about. I'm writing this to you because you seem to have a special rapport with the executive staff at Humanware California, so perhaps you could tell them that clearer more comprehensive announcements will keep complaints on the list to a minimum and all our blood pressures down.

Thank you again,

Sammie Clay
