Thank you very much for your response. After reading the
messages from Joseph Lee and Mary Ellen Earls, I feel that the
announcement for the reader was not very clear. Nowhere in the
announcement does it say the reader is a stand-alone unit to be
used with a computer as Joseph Lee stated. (However, I'm not
sure about the validity of that statement, because Humanware has
not responded.) What the announcement seems to imply is that it's
necessary to own this reader to be able to access Daisy Books and
files from Book Share or other on-line book, radio, or music
sources. Since these advertisements from Humanware are the glue
that sticks us to our devices, I think Humanware would be better
served if all of them were written clearly stating what they were
really about. I'm writing this to you because you seem to have
a special rapport with the executive staff at Humanware
California, so perhaps you could tell them that clearer more
comprehensive announcements will keep complaints on the list to a
minimum and all our blood pressures down.
