Hello all,

Yes, this has happened a number of times through the years since I have had
a BN. Quite often the file is in a memory card and something happens to the
card where a good many things get lost. I for one haven't lost any data in
my unit. There is always a first time for that to happen but I think
something like this happens in a unit which rlys on memory to store data.
Sometimes the memory burps for whatever reason thus data is lost.

The backup utility will allow one to backup to a CF or SD card, thumb drive
etc. One can also do an interim backup which adds or changes files to those
already backed up. They have a good system which works well usually.

Hello everyone, I've been using a BrailleNote for four years. The only time
I've lost data is when my Classic crashed. In three years my PC has crashed
twice. Donna, you might not want to base a decision on one person's
problems. There could be something wrong with that unit. Donna Brown
