Yes. I hope Maurice or Jonathan or someone makes a comment as I'm not concerned just curious as to why it happens? Scott

Yes, very briefly. I hadn't noticed until you mentioned it, since I usually work in Braille alone, though sometimes with speech; so then I checked the Braille as the machine came on and turned on speech and there was no mistaking it. Perhaps this is because of checks still being carried out on boot-up, as described by Maurice in a recent post. Perhaps he'll make a comment on this. -- Carol [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----- Original Message ----- From: "Scott Erichsen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "BrailleNote discussion list" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, September 06, 2007 1:25 PM Subject: [Braillenote] message whenever I turn my PK on? > Hi all, > > WHenever I turn my PK on I get the message: > "please wait" > before it displays main menu. > Is this something unique to the PK? has anyone else noticed this? > If it is part of the uni that is fine. > Thanks. > Scott > > ___ > Replies to this message will go directly to the sender. > If your reply would be useful to the list, please send a > copy to the list as well. > > To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit > http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote > ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
