Not sure I follow. In my experience, anything I do with the trash
folder affects other emails, whether it is erasing them one by
one, erasing the trash folder from the trash folder action menu,
or emptying the trash folder upon exiting keymail. Quite
frustrating, but that is what I get for upgrading ASAP all the
time.

Hi Alex:
If you send your messages from the outbox, you can empty trash
without it bothering anything else. What you cannot do is empty
the trash, until you have sent something from the outbox.
