notFAT--suggestion

Hi Chris and others,

You should be able to get around this.
Although it was good to have someone take me through it,
particularly because I didn't know why it was failing, now at
least if anyone hits these symmptoms we have some aidea about the
problem.
Two things I should have said.

1. The way I was told by HW to get out of the freeze was with the
service reset.
I should have at least mentioned this in case anyone did get the
problem and was tempted by other resets that might not work.
That returned me to where I was before trying to upgrade--that is
7.2.47.

2. I very much suspect that the upgrade from one of these nonFAT
cards could be done by basically following the instructions for
an upgrade done by download.
You should only need to move the files off the card into a folder
beforehand.
You need somewhere around 43MB for the files.

Does anyone know a way of telling what format a card or disk is
in?

Regards,
Steve.
