Yes, I sometimes have to do this with my mPower BT 32, however I've noticed
that with the *latest* ActiveSync, version 4.5, USB connectivity seems to be
a lot less hassle now. You just plug it in as normal, and, providing
everything's set up, ActiveSync should instantly recognize it and
connect/synchronize accordingly, without even performing a reset at the
BrailleNote/VoiceNote's end.

Subject: [Braillenote] ActiveSync and PK

I know that there aare a few on this list who experienced difficulties
getting ActiveSync running with their PK via USB. I found this same
difficulty and found that a C1C4 reset set everything straight. So please
ignore my earlier messages about ActiveSync. I now have everything
synchronized amongst the PK, mPower and PC.
