Hi all In fact, both Christopher and Kristen are right. To alter the messages BrailleNote gives into grade 2, go into Braille Display Options in the Options menu (B) and change the preferred reading grade to 2. To change the grade of braille you use to input text, go to Keyboard Settings in the Options menu (K) and change the preferred keyboard braille grade to 2.
I hope this clears up the confusion, Kylie -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Kristen Sent: Wednesday, 17 October 2007 11:41 AM To: Chris Hallsworth; [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [email protected]; Kristen Slemp; BrailleNote List Subject: Re: [Braillenote] Messages in grade 2 Hello Stacy, Christopher, and Everyone, This is Kristen. Actually, it's space with o and then the letter (k) that is: space with dots 1-3-5 and then the letter (k) which is dots 1-3. If you press the space-key twice now you'll hear the prompt for the grade of braille you want to use. Since you want grade two: Press the letter (b) that is dots 1-2. Press enter and keep pressing it until you hear (End Of List.) Then press space with the letter (e) to exit the menu which is space with dots 1-5. I Hope that this helps!
