Hi List:

The question of Keysoft working under Unix is an idea that I've had for a time as well. Windows CE seems to have limitations and a GUI based interface. Unix may be a better platform for Keysoft.

Subject: [Braillenote] Linux vs. Windows CE

I was curious why the BrailleNote runs on Windows CE versus
running on Linux. We already have KeySoft as a custom interface, and if it ran on top of a Linux based architecture, there wouldn't be as much of a concern with the SDK that there would be with Windows CE, and also if it's running a commercially available form of Linux, you could just download third party applications and still have the virus-free security that KeySoft has always had. Any thoughts on this?
