Hi Eva and list,
Actually, CE does support passwords, but KeySoft did not implement this. One
thing that can be done under CE 5.2 is to encrypt a storage medium with a
secure password-like key, so that only the device with this key would be
able to use the storage device. But as soon as a user performs Hard Reset
with data stored on Flash Disk, the password would be lost anyway, so anyone
with sufficient knowledge might perform this reset and gain access to the
owner's data. So I think this feature, although useful for encryption
purposes, may not be a good option in the long run. But I also believe that
having a password to lock one's BrailleNote would be useful for some people.

Cheers,
Joseph

Is there a way to set a pass word for the Bn QT as soon as it is turned on?
