Our laptop (which recently crashed) does not have an intednal
battery, but the cost of replacing it was somewhere between $80
and $100, so it isn't necessarily any deal to have a battery that
you can replace yourself. The only thing I can see that would be
good about it is that you could replace it without having to send
the BN to Humanware. Anyway, I just want a good quality battery
that will last a long time. Perhaps someone knowledgeable would
write something about battery maintainance--for instance, how
often should our batteries be recalibrated, etc. Debby and
