First, I added the "PK" to the subject line as I'm only aware of this on PK
units.
I have a co-worker who is also seeing this and getting quite frustrated.
She was a life-long Braille-N-Speak user until this last year.
She too is learning to live with it. However, this is not acceptable. I
also have a PK and see it happening often, but not as often as she is.
When anyone, government or private citizen, spends $5,000 for a device they
are going to depend on, it shouldn't be this unstable.
She is a faster braillist than I am, which I suspect is why she experiences
it so much more.

But, Humanware seems les than interested in doing anything about it other
than telling people to slow down their keystrokes.

Sad, as when other devices become similarly portable; Humanware is going to
see a mass exodus.

Subject: re: [Braillenote] Speech keeps stopping

Hi, this happens with my PK all the time and I have just learnt
to live with it. It happens to me when typing in a document or
email and I haven't noticed any one thing that causes it.

So you are not alone but when it happens all I do is save what I
have been working on, exit to the main menu and then do a C3 C4
reset. If anyone knows of a fix for this I would also like to
know about it.
