Interesting that this seems to be a common problem. When I found this
happening with my newly-purchased PK, I called tech support and tried to get
some help with it. I spent the usual *hours* on the phone with them, and
they wanted me to send it back in. They weren't too friendly about it
either. I had been without a BN for long enough, and I did not want to see
the PK disappear for another couple of weeks, so I, too have learned to live
with it. It would be nice if Humanware just told us, look, it's a problem,
live with it, or, even better, tried to fix it. At least then, we'd know
it's just one of those thinngs and would not be living in mortal dread that
something is malfunctioning.

So you are not alone but when it happens all I do is save what I have been
working on, exit to the main menu and then do a C3 C4 reset. If anyone
knows of a fix for this I would also like to know about it.
