The Mpower does, or rather did, support cdrom drives, but, unfortunately, with build 28, this ability seems to have been removed. As I stated in an earlier communication, for the past year I have used this drive for not only reading many text files, but also giving me the facility to read and copy Daisy books. The only way I have been able to get over this is to revert to build 27; my drive is now once again fully operative. The name on the unit is "quiet Track asus.. I have not heard of this make elsewhere. Though it plugs into the usb port, it has its own power adapter. But of course, as I said, it definitely will not work with build 28.
