I disagree. This is a quote from the readme file for ks7.21.

Dear Ray and list:
Humanware does NOT support CD drives of any kind with KeySoft 7.5
build 28 or any previously released version of KeySoft.
Some people found some brand, they never did say which one, of CD
drive worked fine with KeySoft 7.2. However they have posted
unhappiness about their drive no longer working under 7.5.
Sorry, it just isn't a supported device!
So you'll need to bring a laptop or CD DAISY player with you.
