John, I am using the exact thing and just got it today actually. I have heard from the tech person here in Texas that the USB function is not working right now with the braillenote for some odd reason that I have no idea about, so the tech evaluator recommended the purchase of a bluetake blootooth 200 model printer adapter. I am going to charge it and try it tonight or tomorrow, and I will write to the list and update you on the progress, but for now, they say that the USB port is not braillenote compatible. I tried it when I was evaluated for the embosser by the DARS division for blind services in October and sure enough it did not work. So your best bet is either parallel or bluetooth. The bluetake bt 200 is not that expensive, though I cannot remember how much now. smiles I hope this helps.
Kerri
