Hi
I have been having trouble with my Basic and Duxbury, but this
has to do with formatting and not trouble with the actual embossing.
No matter what I do, the unit wants to print the bottom line of the
page on the top of the next.

John and list,
I have just tried the bluetooth, and I did get it set up correctly
with my braille note, and it sent the file to the printer, but all I
got were l's a a's and b's all across the page until I stopped the
embossing by hitting off-line. I also have Duxbury and tried it
with that, and I still got l's, a's and b's all the way across, they
were about an inch apart, spaced out across the page. I printed a
help file and a test page from the index and still got this weird
formatting. I have gone through the group, item, and values of
everything, and the parallel port is set to on, the page layout is
fine, and the table is set to index braille table. That is the only
option in that menu. I almost know that my settings on both duxbury
and my bn MPOWER are correct, does anyone know why it's like that?
My husband said that maybe the dip switches are set wrong, which
would make it function improperly, but surely to goodness they would
have set this to the index basic d set-up, since that is what this
embosser is. I do not think it is either my braille note or my
computer, since both times with both pc and bn, it printed l's, a's
and b's. I think it's got something to do with the embosser.
