This sounds fascinating and I might well give the audio a listen, but
I have a question.
I'm all for chatting, sharing information and experiences, but does
any of this find it's way to Humanware in a constructive way? I ask
because I don't know.

Hi folks,
Today's chat went very well - extremely productive. We had eight
people on the chat (including one person who chimed in through
Skype). There was no pause between questions, answers and comments.
So what did we discuss? Here is a list of what we talk about on this chat:
* Hardware comments - somewhat larger PK with support for USB host
and other memory enhancements.
* Windows CE 6 - people commented that this year would be a good
opportunity to move onto CE 6 to stay ahead.
* Possible new motherboard - inclusion of hardware such as more
Flash, built-in WiFi and other capabilities.
* Foreign language - translation issues, possibility of creating new
language tables, entering characters in another language and so forth.
* File Management - possibility of "porting" features that were
present on file operations to folders, including marking, copying,
moving, erasing, renaming and protecting folders, plus the ability
to zip and unzip files and folders.
* Password protection - possibility of protecting one's BrailleNote
(the unit itself) via password, putting passwords on folders to deny
access to unauthorized users and so on.
* Inclusion of PowerPoint - what would it mean, how to describe
graphics, how BrailleNote might deal with slide transition effects and so on.
* Word Processor - possibility of creating tables and working with
images via textual description.
* Email - a shortcut to reply and forward within the message itself,
email rules, possibility of sending and receiving email at a
predefined intervals and notification of email operations (sending
and receiving messages) in other programs such as KeyWord.
* Internet - possible support for "mailto" tag so that one can send
email messages directly from the website without having to search
for the email address from the source HTML code.
* Misc programs - streamlined menus e.g.
Internet menu for Email and Internet and so forth using categories,
comments on BrailleNote's efficiency and so forth.
* Software development - status on SDK, possibility of inclusion of
Java Virtual Machine (JVM) so that Java programs can run, ability
for KeySoft to multitask - write a document while surfing the web
and receive email notifications simultaneously.
* Other queries - questions on BrailleNote in other languages such
as Korean and Turkish, how to become a beta tester, supported
wireless cards and universal commands for all apps.
I guess that gives you a picture of what we discussed today. Many
people say that it was productive - sure it was fun and productive.
In the meantime, the recording of this two hour chat will be
uploaded to Blind Geek Zone page as usual within the next couple days.
