Hi Chris and Stefan,
First of all, here is a likely fix for Stefan's problem: Go to file Manager/Directory and select Flash Disk. At the "folder name" prompt, press SPACE until you see/bear KeyPlan. Press BACKSPACE with dots 2-3-5-6 (CTRL plus 8) then press y to delete the folder. If it says anything about hidden files, just press a for all. After it has finished, press Reset to reload KeyPlan folder. Please note you need to create all your appointments again. For Chris: Alex would probably no better than myself on th... This random number is called memory location (or sometimes called memory address). This is a way for memory manager on any computer to refer to what's stored on that location, such as a piece of program code that is running or data that a program should use. (A memory manager is a service that manages RAM content). My theory (I don't know the exact specifics of it) is that this "access viloation at (memory address number)" might indicate that KeySoft was trying to access a certain memory location that it should not have access to (in other words, memory manager would have blocked KeySoft from reading certain data from this location).
Cheers,
Joseph P.S. Er, Alex, Jonathan, Kevin, did I explain correctly?

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] keyplan problems

Hi, sorry to be humorous here, but I just
love these random numbers
Windows generates! Don't you? Where the hell
do they get numbers like
344791137, or whatever it was? I know this
doesn't answer the question,
but sure it's nice to have humour on here
sometimes. Lol lol lol!

Hi everyone,

I am writing on behalf of a friend who has a
BN BT running KS 7.5 build
28.

Their problem is in the Keyplan menu.

1. When trying to schedule a new
appointment they receive the error
message
"exception edit command 122 access violation
reading 317493344".

2. When trying to cancel an appointment
the message is:
"failed to cancel".

3. They have noticed that even though
appointments are scheduled for
one recurrence only they occur
daily--sometimes several times in a day.

4. They have tried all but the "hard
reset".

Solutions needed!

Should they backup the Keyplan folder then
delete the Keyplan Folder
from the Keysoft System Disk or is less
radical surgery possible?
(groan)

As always, help appreciated.
