Joseph,

Your explanation is correct with regards to the memory management, address and
location. The explanation sounds very technical as the ssubject is one that is
very technical. The just of it is that the number provided is associated with a
particular address in the memory manager, which in turn is associated to a
particular location. The reason for the exception command being produced is
because KeySoft isn't accessing this particular location through the memory
manager correctly or does not have access to it.

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] keyplan problems

Hi Chris and Stefan,
First of all, here is a likely fix for
Stefan's problem: Go to file
Manager/Directory and select Flash Disk. At the "folder name" prompt, press
SPACE until you see/bear KeyPlan. Press BACKSPACE with dots 2-3-5-6 (CTRL plus
8) then press y to delete the folder. If it says anything about hidden files,
just press a for all. After it has finished, press Reset to reload KeyPlan
folder. Please note you need to create all your appointments again.
For Chris: Alex would probably no better than myself on th... This random
number is called memory location (or sometimes called memory address). This is
a way for memory manager on any computer to refer to what's stored on that
location, such as a piece of program code that is running or data that a
program should use. (A memory manager is a service that manages RAM content).
My theory (I don't know the exact specifics of it) is that this "access
viloation at (memory address number)" might indicate that KeySoft was trying to
access a certain memory location that it should not have access to (in other
words, memory manager would have blocked KeySoft from reading certain data from
this location).
Cheers,
Joseph P.S. Er, Alex, Jonathan, Kevin, did I explain correctly?
