Hi all, Thank you all for your assistance thus far. I grately appreciate it. Well, here's an update and a new dilemma! I must have something configured correctly, because I can now retrieve e-mail from the server. When I try sending the messages I have in my outbox, it says something like: socket error, reset by remote SMTP please check the smtp ports and the network configuration. Okay what am I doing wrong? Someone asked me which braillenote I had. Sorry, I should have said that right off. I have the braillenote Mpower running KeySoft version 7.5 build 28. My e-mail service provider is hostbaby which runs my website. Here's what I have configured so far. Maybe if I tell you exactly, one of you kind folks could help.
