Dear Shaz and list:

Things to consider when connecting two items are reliability and
convenience.

A wired connection is always more reliable than a wireless one.
However using Blue Tooth for the connection may save you running
half a mile of connecting cable around the perimeter of your room
or wherever the Mpower is located.

If your Mpower and Mountbatten Brailler seldom travel, then go
the USB route. If your Mpower travels with you to/from work,
play, school etc., you may find Blue Tooth the more convenient
way to connect them. No wires to tangle, kink, get chewed by the
cat, dog or pet Salt Water Crocodile. No connectors to fiddle
with bend or break pins in.

Infra Red is like Blue Tooth only for relatively short distances
and line-of-sight. It also has problems with direct sunlight
overwhelming the infrared signal from your Mpower. For these
reasons, Infrared is generally the worst choice for wireless
connectivity.

Hope this helps. Think what you are looking for as a Blue Tooth
to Parallel converter is known as a Blue Take. Enabling
Technologies was selling them, may still.
