I accept the comments about the embarrassment of having to re-set your note-taker during an important meeting, but the last few meetings I have been to, at which presentations were involved, it has been the standard computer systems which have failed to perform, not the blind note takers. I would think that it is well over sixty per cent of occasions that the standard computers used in presentations fail and need a few minutes of down time before they can get started again. In some cases, the slides and presentations have had to be given orally, which is a bonus anyway when blind people are present.

PETER WILKINS.
