More on punctuation errors:
In everything but UEB, BrailleNote does not correctly translate multiple
punctuation marks in a row. For example, instead of (?), i.e., question mark
in parentheses, BrailleNote translates it as "left left parenthesis question
mark were". Whereas, with just (?, i.e. left parenthesis question mark,
BrailleNote translates as "left parenthesis his). In UEB, at least no
contracted words appear, but with (?), i.e. question mark in parentheses as
above, BrailleNote translates as "left parenthesis quotation mark right
parenthesis".

Indeed, apart from in UEB, most combinations of two punctuation marks
together results in the second one being translated as the equivalent grade
2 contraction, even though the rules of grade 2 forbid the use of a
lower-cell contracted word to be used in conjunction with punctuation marks.

I just thought I'd put in my two cents' worth because this has been
bothering me for a while.

Subject: [Braillenote] ks bug: stripping punctuation at end of line

Another bug I just found when trying to email some cpp code: I
had a bunch of braces on their own lines, but the bn took them
out so it looked like I forgot all those braces when in fact my
bn had removed them. I have also noticed that if you try to do
punctuation alone at the end of a line, like a punctuation smily
face after some words and just before a hard return, the smily is
missing in the email after it is sent; the bn just pulls it out
of the message for some reason.

Have a great day,
Alex
