We understand in a way, however, this has been coming up on the list often because some of us really do want and need better Word support. I know this has been an issue since 2002, and that is a long time to have accomplished absolutely nothing.

This seems to pop up from time to time and I don't know why people don't understand that it is a Microsoft issue. Microsoft is the one who has changed the file format of Word, which makes it difficult for HW to cleanly support it. Software development is not as simple as you think either. I know as I am married to someone who did that for almost 16 years of his working life with a major telecom company.. Microsoft also doesn't do anything fast; and I suspect that this includes working with third-party vendors of which HW is only one of many which must deal with Microsoft or one of many whom Microsoft must deal with. Thank you as this will be my last comment on the Word issue as I am getting blue in the face having to repeat this every time this subject comes up.
