Hi Donna,
One way of getting rid of format markers seems to be to export
then re-import a document.
This also takes out underline on/off and probably others too.
You can hide most markers by setting the Braille mode to read.
This can be done by cycling through the four available Braille
modes using thumb keys <previous> and <next> together.
Regards,
Steve.

Subject: [Braillenote] weird behavior in computer braille
document
Hi all,
I'm noticing the following strange behaviors in a computer
braille document
I am working with:
1. The cursor doesn't show, although I have it set to
display as dots
7-8 and 8-dot computer braille is set.
2. These annoying format markers keep showing up.
3. When I attempt to delete the first character in a line,
I hear a
beep, and the BN says format marker. How do I get rid of these
things?
4. There are all these duxbury-like characters in my
document, $l $p
$lg, etc. How do I get rid of these?
Thanks to anyone who can help with this!
Best,
Donna
