I recently sent my mPower in for repair. I called HW today, because I
had heard nothing on the status of my unit. I was told that my Bn had
arrived on the 18th (though the UPS website said the 15th), and that the
repair department is two and a half to three weeks behind. Right now, they
are still working on notetakers that arrived in late July, so I suppose it
may be mid-September before they get to mine.

    This is my first time to send in my BN, and I'm wondering if my
experience is typical. I'm blessed to have a Braille Lite as a backup, but I
never imagined it might be over a month before I would have my BN back. It
will be worth the wait, if they can fix the problems, but I'm surprised that
there is such a backlog.
