The BrailleNote only recognizes SD cards that are not "High capacity" cards. So it should work with your 1 and 2 GB SD cards, but if the 4, 8 and 16 GB cards are "High Capacity" then they will not work with the BrailleNote but will work like charms in a Victor Reader Stream. Perhaps a firmware update for the BN will let it recognize SDHC cards. We can only hope. Brian Brian K.
