the radio is a chip built directly in to the mother board, something that
was manufactured in to the unit. sure HW could remove the software, but the
chip is still there. if you don't want to use it or you think it's not good,
then ignore or don't use it.

One further comment regards the radio. I do not support making that an
AM/FM radio as I consider the radio a piece of junk that just takes up
space. It is a luxury which is not necessary for the BN. Heck, my
husband
can't even pick up our community college station and we are less than a
mile
from the transmittor. What does that tell you about the radio? It tells
me
plenty.
