You tell it where with the > command. After a string, such as "/c ipconfig /all" (without the quotes), you type, with a space to separate it from the string and again without quotes: "> ipconfig.txt". This file could be called anything, and can go anywhere; the above command puts it in the none folder of the kssd, but you could have typed: "> "flash disk/general/ip stuff.txt"". Notice the quotes around the path this time, because the path contains spaces so you need to surround it with quotes as cmd parses commands at spaces unless a quote is there to tell cmd to not parse that entire string. Hope this made sense.

Have a great day,
Alex

Well, that's too bad. But where is the file that stores the
command prompt output, anyway?

First, no network printers are supported, as great as that would
be. Second,
you would think that command prompt would equal ftp, telnet, and
other
windows features, but it does not. If you use the 2> to output
errors to a
file when trying telnet, your file will say basically that cmd
does not know
what telnet is. Besides, cmd is not 2-way (which is why you have
to use
files for output) so telnet sessions would take a long time as
you would
have to keep looking at the file instead of having a direct
output on the bn
to look at and react to.

Subject: [Braillenote] Wireless Questions

Hi,

I just received a wireless card for my BrailleNote, and I have a
few
questions.

First, how do you print using a network printer, if possible?
Also, is
there
any way to access telnet with the BN? I know it has a command
prompt, so
shouldn't you be able to access Windows telnet?

Thanks

Mike
