I agree; I really do not like eBuddy at all. I wish it would just update the text in a read-only text input field; the bn should be able to support that. Anyway, we will see what keychat brings us...

Have a great day,
Alex

eBuddy is fine if each party sends just one message at a time,
then
waits for the other party to respond. But if messages are going
back-and-forth a million a minute, eBuddy will cause you to lose
the
thread of things, at least in my experience.

Cheers,

Grant

Seriously, if KeyChat doesn't support these, just use
www.ebuddy.com. It
works great. Sure, it'd be nice to have those Braille/speech
notifications
and I hope voiceclip/voicechat support, but it works very well
for a web
interface. Though yes, I'd like some information on this
feature if
possible.

Maurice and all,

Maurice, can you confirm whether KeyChat will work with any of
the
following mainstream services - Windows Live, AOL, or Yahoo!?

At least in North America, it seems to me that neither Google
Talk nor
iChat are very popular: I only have a couple friends who use
Google
Talk, and they use it mainly for testing purposes; and I know
nobody
who uses iChat. These services cannot compete with the
multitude of
people using Windows Live, AOL and Yahoo!, and frankly, with the
PAC
Mate Omni supporting both Windows Live and AOL, and the Braille
Sense
supporting Windows Live, this will make the difference between
KeyChat
being a breakthrough in KeySoft or merely a small function that
few
people will use.

So, can you provide us with an answer on this?

Sincerely,

Grant
