Hi, last week I set up my Pk as a braille display for my Pc running windows ex p and jaws 10. But now I can't get the bluetooth on my Pk to pick up the bluetooth on the Pc. Also we tried to set it up with the laptop running vista and jaws 10 but the display wouldn't show me anything. I am hoping someone can help me try and fix this because it was really hard last week trying to listen to jaws and the teacher at the same time.

In the manual it seems to say that you need to use active sync to connect the bluetooth display but once we got the Pc working it didn't appear to have even connected to active sync and we could shut active sync down and still have the display working. If you do need active sync to get it all working can someone tell me what it is called on vista and is it already installed or do I need to get it from somewhere?

When I was in class I put the bluetooth Usb dongle into my laptop and turned on bluetooth on my Pk, then I searched for bluetooth devices on my Pk but I couldn't find the laptop. I found all my classmates phones but no sign of the laptop. When I tried it at home later I had the bluetooth on both my Pk and MPower turned on. then I asked the bluetooth program on the laptop to search for bluetooth devices and it found none, this is weird because my brother has bluetooth on his Pc just across the hall and it didn't even find that. I tried to find the laptop with my phone but it couldn't find it.

I am hoping someone has some suggestions that can help me because I have about four months of this course and it would be really helpful if I can use my braille display for class. At the moment I don't even care which machine I use as long as one of the braillenotes can get working with the laptop I will be a very happy lady.
