Hello, this is not a bad idea. But, there's a pretty easy work around for this issue. A power converter works just fine. Auto Zone as well as many gas stations and electronic stores sell them. They can also be purchased online at sites such as Amazon and buy.com Anyway, I bought one at autozone for around $20. It works just great for the braillenote as well as the laptop and cellphone.
