Hello, as far as it pulling to much power. There are power converters that have different voltages. The one I'm using has a continuous voltage of up to 70 volts. I don't remember what the braille notes charger's voltage is, but I know it is in the correct range. As far as people on any public transportation, you are very much correct. It would not be an option. For me, traveling nine hours in a car from Missouri to Arkansas it was a very useful investment.
