Hi,
This symbol is language indicator.
A possible thing with computer braille display is that you might
have set text document reading grade to computer braille. Or,
press the right thumb-keys (ADVANCE and NEXT) until "preferred
rading grade" is displayed.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] What does this symbol mean?
Hi,
When I enter a .doc or .rtf file, this symbol always appears
before the text. The symbol is a dollar sign followed by an l
and a g. The text is always displayed in computer braille when
my preferred reading grade is grade 2. How do I fix this, and
what does this symbol mean?
Randie
