I used road runner's dial up a long time ago when I was away from home on a laptop and to do that required a special dialer program from them and for the service to be activated.
You might be able to work around that thought. I would try prefixing your username with: aolnet/ent. Like aolnet/[email protected] lower case aolnet, a forward slash, lowercase e n t, a period, then your username. I got that from the code at http://www.belikoff.net/rr-dialup-in-linux Ideally you need some way of running a custom dial up script as described in that page for getting it working in Linux. Actually this second link provides more details. http://woodruffrc.com/road-runner-dial-access-fix.html I'll have to read the manual to see how much of that you can do on the braillenote but anyone else thinking of helping will likely find that useful. - Chris On Sun, Jul 5, 2009 at 1:27 AM, sam<[email protected]> wrote: > I have been through this with them.
