Hi,
I asked about this to an HW developer. According to him, this is due to
necessary changes made in order to handle Audible files.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] eloquence speech

Hi,

In the release notes about Keysoft 8, I read that if you are reading a file
using the bookreader and you turn on speech, the tts will be eloquence, even

if you have KeyNote Gold as your preferred synthesizer.

I think that's terrible! The eloquence voices grate on my nerves and I
haven't found a way to make them sound good! Why did HumanWare remove my
choice of synthesizers for reading books? I suppose I'll have to use
KeyWord for reading web braille books.

If this is true, then I won't upgrade to Keysoft 8.
