Hello all,

The person I spoke with said that either an 18 or 32 cell mPower purchased after October 1 would receive full value towards the price of an Apex if the customer decided to exchange it. Obviously, since the Apex only comes in 32 cell models, trading in an 18 cell would leave you with a balance of $1,800.00 still to pay.

Hope that helps.

PK: no reduction in price.
mPower:
Voicenote: no reduction in price.
18 cell display: Apex price will drop $1400.
32 cell display: price drops $2200.

Any mPower bought on or after October 1 can be traded at no cost for an Apex, though we are not sure if this means 32 cell models only or 18 cell as well.

Have a great day,
Alex

Sorry, I'm getting very confused about what can and cannot be exchanged and even found your messsage yesterday a little confusing ... It could be that I'm not concentrating too well right now (Sorry and not my fault) so could you just step back a bit and answer the following:

Do you get any reduction on the Apex for exchanging either a PK or an mPower? If so, how much, in dollars? I suppose we Brits won't see this, as is often the case ...

No, any mPower is tradeable. The October thing is that
any bn purchased after October 1 can be exchanged, for
free, for an Apex, not just used to lower the price of an
Apex as older mPowers will do.

Have a great day,
Alex

Good to know. But I'm going to assume that this only
applies to people who purchased their m-powers on or
after October 1st. Is this correct? And I think it would
be a good idea to have instructions as to where to go to
sign up or whatever someone would have to do.
    Cheers,
   Amanda

Hi, all. I called Humanware Customer Service about the
exchange program for
switching from the mPower to the Apex, and here's what
Julie told me. They're going to start making a list of
people who want to do the trade-in,
and then when they have enough units ready, they'll
start calling people to
send in their mPowers, and then they'll mail them back
an Apex. She said it
will probably start around the end of December; it
won't be before Christmas. So I guess my mPower will
come home to me from being serviced,
and then if I decide to do the trade-in, it will be
going back in a short time.

So that's what I was told.
