I had a frustrating try at it today too.
I wanted to use the Apex to get the file, as I was told by tech support that I could down load it with the Apex.

It took me two ours to get to 48%.
Before going to 49% it told me that the file had failed to down load. I did a reset but when it came back up, it asked me if I wanted it to install 9.00 build, bla bla bla?

I did not chose to do this, I thought that something dreadful would happen to my Apex.

Any thoughts?

Subject: [Braillenote] Trying to download the Apex update

Well, I'm trying to download the Apex update, and I've been sitting at 7 percent for a very long time. I remember this happening with past updates in older BrailleNote models, and Humanware was kind enough to provide a .zip file for our convenience. I didn't see such an option for this upgrade. And I seem to be stalled at 7 percent. Will upgrades only be available to those whose Internet providers allow them to download these files? Or will a zip file be put up for those of us unable to download upgrades that aren't in .zip format? Or is it normal for the upgrades to stall at 7 percent for
several minutes? Or is there a .zip option I didn't see?

Peggy <frustrated that the .zip option seems to have been taken away
