Hi,
It's actually the RAM Disk which will be erased (not the card files themselves; the files there will not go away even when nk binary image is copied there. As for image burning process, I need to look at my notes later and post a simplified version of it).
Cheers,
Joseph P.S. I'm learning about pointers, stacks and heap.

A clarification: if the card is 512mb or less, down to 64mb, than
you can
use it for the upgrade (note that all your files will be erased
from the
card if you do this). If the card is less than 4gb but above
512mb, you
cannot use it to upgrade, but you can use it for storing files
that you
would like to access on your bn. If you are using an Apex rather
than an
mPower, then you have nothing to worry about; use it to upgrade
or for file
storage, no matter the size.

Have a great day,
Alex

Hi,
Depends on the type of BrailleNote:
* If your unit is an mPower, then you can use your SD card
provided that it is less than 4 GB and IS between 64 and 512 MB
card (for upgrading).
* If you have an Apex, you can definitely use it not only for
upgrading, but to store books which you can use your BrailleNote
to read them.
Cheers,
Joseph

I got a victor stream reader with a sd card. Can I use this same
card to load the update of the firmware of the braillenote and
use it in the braillenote as well.
