Hi Donna,

Now you've asked an interesting question ... because we thought we'd heard that it was ... and in fact our reading of email seemed to bear that out.

When your email arrived, I decided to do a few more tests and sent an HTML document in an HTML email to my husband to read on his Apex. I thought that this should say a "Yes" or "No"!

We read it fine!

I am wondering if it depends a bit on other settings from which an email document has been sent.

I am happy to send the same email document as I sent to my husband to anyone who wants to try to read it either with the Apex or using their BN to see how they find it works.

Subject: [Braillenote] Is html supported in email?

Hi All.

Sorry I've not contributed much to this list yet. I'm
just finding my way around the Braillenote and don't feel
confident enough to offer advice at present. I must say
that despite its glitches I love the Apex and find myself
using it more and more each day.

Now onto my question. I thought I read somewhere that the
Braillenote Apex supports html email. I've subsequently
received emails in htm format and they're pretty much
unreadable. Was I wrong in thinking that htm is now
supported in emails? If not, is there something I'm
missing in order to make these emails legible?

Many thanks for any help, and thanks again for such an
informative list.

Regards

Donna
