Hi Alex,
Could you tell us the directory structure of the Apex (at least as seen from
your computer)? Thanks.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] Apex!!

Hi all,
I have been playing with my Apex for the last couple hours, and loving it!
There are some bugs, but I will not bother to post them until after we see
what ks9.01 fixes. So far, though, I love the quieter keyboard and the
faster processor. I can hit i from the main menu and, even if I am not
connected when I start, my homepage loads, nothing about "connecting to
home... connected to home", just hit enter and it is done. It takes maybe 5
seconds to start bluetooth, and maybe 10 to scan for devices; compare that
to the mPower! The processor is definitely faster. I have a random number
generator that takes 36 seconds to run on the mPower; the Apex takes 24
seconds to run the same program.
I love the scroll wheel, though it can be hard to make sure it clicks into a

position.
I recorded myself opening the package; I described the unit, then put it
through some tests to see what it could do, though no daisy book yet. I will

clean up the file and post it; I will let you know when it is done.
My main advice: do NOT use Eloquence. It is worse than it was on the mPower,

especially when typing.

Have a great day,
Alex (msg sent from PC)
