Hello BrailleNote list,

Thank you to John Patrick Houck for providing the price of the Apex 18 cell at
$4395 USD. The reason we do not include pricing in press releases is because
the price will vary depending on the country in which the product is purchased,
since the currency for that country and exchange rates varies from the US. In
addition, we have distributors in other parts of the world, such as in South
America or Asia, where there is often an import surcharge tax. We wish it was
more simple!

As for trade ins, this will depend on the model, date of the unit and its
condition. It must be a working unit as we want to be very fair to those that
have kept their product in good working condition and current. We currently
accept Classic BrailleNote and VoiceNotes, all mPower models and the
BrailleNote PK. Best to contact the sales organization within your appropriate
country. For the US, you can call 800-722-3393 or email us at
[email protected]

Thank you everyone and for those with a new Apex - enjoy!

Hello,
This is a bit OT but I am trying to emboss from my BraillENote mPower onto a
VersaPoint. This is not the Duo model, but the classic model - this one is old
enough to still be a "TSI" model! All of the searching I have done has only
turned up documentation for the Duo model. I am not familiar with the switches
and commands on this, so I am looking for some documentation. Any help would be
appreciated.

Thanks,

Flint

Hi HumanWare staff and BrailleNote List, This is a revolutionary news. Thanks
for proving us that you are listching to us (especially those who are in need
of cheap version of the Apex 32).
Just two questions:
1. What would be the trade-in price from previout BrailleNote models to
BrailleNote Apex 18?
2. It is possible for some of us who are using 32-cell version to downgrade to
18-cell and what would be the price?
Thanks again for this wonderful news.
Cheers,
Joseph S. Lee
