Hi,
The only way out is via booting to bootloader, disable Debug mode and restarting KeySoft (Reset with DOTS 4-6, DOT 2 then Reset button). The reason that I said that message was a misconception that debugging will solve all of our problems and resource allocation (using serial port to view output information).
Cheers,
Joseph

Hi,
When you use Debug mode, the information about your BrailleNote and what it is doing will be sent out through the serial port. Other things that uses serial port, such as Braille Terminal mode will not work through the serial port. If you use Debug mode and attempt to use braille terminal via serial port results in the following message from the BrailleNote:
"The serial port is not availible."
As for deeper meaning behind this, I think it'd be somewhat hard for you
to understand - can someone help me out here?
Cheers,
Joseph

What do you mean?
Can you give me an example?
I did the reset and turned debug off then did a normal reset.
Can you explain please?
Thanks!
Cheers,

Brandon

Hi,
Be warned: IF YOU DO THIS, YOU'LL NOT BE ABLE TO USE SERIAL
PORT!!!

Hi. I made a discovery with the issue I asked about. If you
don't want to follow my advice you don't have to, I just figured
something out though that might help users of eloquence speech on
their bn mpower. Perform a reset with dots 4-5 held down. You
don't need the ac adapter to do this even though it says connect
ac adapter. Don't have an sd card or any media inserted into the
unit when doing this.
Press dot 2 on its own when you see update menu v2.6. The
braille will show degug on. Press d and it will show debug start and you'll be returned to the main menu as if you had just done a
normal reset. Wait 5 seconds before pressing spacebar to move
through the menu.
Remember I would only recommend this with eloquence if it really
is being sluggish.
Cheers,

Brandon
