I experience the same thing 9 times out of 10. I do not turn my wireless off ever, but I find that I have to either reset or press e chord repeatedly and then the next time I am able to immediately connect and get my email. One thing that I have started doing, and it seems to help, is to go to wireless connection and reconnect to my wireless before trying to go to my email. If I do this every time, I have no problem.

I just received my Apex earlier this week and have experienced either a significant delay or the apex freezing when I try to access my e-mail. Well, I've enjoyed reading quite a few messages on this list (mainly memory problems). While reading messages about memory errors, I thought I'd just
write a few comments about it, plus opinions on recent threads:

* Memory errors: even though if you downgrade, upgrade, etc., this persistent "not enough storage" and its variant, "virtual memory is below certain percent" messages will not go away. This became more noticeable after 7.x firmware was released (on the mPower). Classic units has this problem but does not report it always (maybe it'd be that I didn't use Classic with 7.x firmware). I see some people saying that just downgrading or upgrading the firmware would fix the problem; contrary to this, this is not the fault of KeySoft - rather, it's the operating system (Windows CE.net 4.2) that's causing the problem. This "memory problem" would hopefully go away if HW decides to ship a firmware containing an upgrade to the CE OS (which is highly unlikely, given the product cycle and remaining SMA count announcement from HW last year). As it was stated earlier, Apex does not have this problem anymore, but freezing still occurs (as with any computers; I'll not go into it anymore because there are quite a few newbies who I
believe would not understand what's going on).
* A note of apology: I would like to apologize to newbies about recent threads (sorry if it was too hard for you to understand). That memory problem is one of the questions that (I believe) confuses people around here... We'll try our best to explain this to you in more simpler language
next time...
* As for chat dates, thanks for alerting me to the fact that ACB and NFB conventions occur at that time. I'll consider scheduling the chat date
either before or after the convention (it's up to you).
