The version of keysoft was not the latest. It was the one
before, so that is indeed interesting. I will try updating it
and see if my fuse is seen. As for resets, we used just a plain
reset, and a 456 reset.

Hi,
Uh oh... That's odd... In my case, I was able to pick up most
of the FM
stations in los Angeles area, as well as connect a Sanssa Fuze
and have it
recognized. Can you tell us what version of KeySoft your client
used and
tried Hard Reset, Clear Settings and "the two most powerful
resets under
Apex"?
Cheers,
Joseph

Hello Joseph and all,
Since this is being discussed, I thought I would weigh in my two
cents worth. Today I had a client with an Apex and we were
talking about the fm radio. I have an mpower. We both tried our
radios with headphones. I was able to get only a couple of
stations. I am quite sure this is because I was in a brick
building. However, he was unable to get anything on his radio.
Also, I have noticed that the reset time is much longer then that
of an mpower. Now I am guessing this is because the Apex has a
much larger disk to go through then the mpower, but it was
surprising to me nonetheless. I have seen the email slowness on
the apex of which you speak. Lastly, I have a Samsa mp3 player.
I hooked it to my usb of my mpower and was very excited to see
that I could use it with the mpower. I then tried it out on the
Apex, but dispite trying resets and different cinarios, the Apex
could not see my mp3 player. Anyway, there's my thoughts.

Hi,
Hmmm, in my view, it is definitely faster and better at certain
tasks, while
it might be slower on others. My felling is sort of mixed at the
moment -
unless if HW will announce something awesome in the short run.
My BN is at
the shop right now, so the data that I have on my Apex comes from
tests that
I've donw while I had the unit.
The thing that I liked the most on the Apex is the speed in which
operations
are done. For instance, I'd say it takes twice less amount of
time to backup
your files compared to an mPower. One disappointment would be
some slowness
when receiving email (it takes about twice more time to downlolad
email on
the apex versus the mPower).
How about you?
Cheers,
Joseph
