Hi,
Yes, try updating to the latest version and see what happens. If not, you
might want to ask your client to perform a hard reset (holding the reset
button for five seconds or more).

The version of keysoft was not the latest.  It was the one 
before, so that is indeed interesting.  I will try updating it 
and see if my fuse is seen.  As for resets, we used just a plain 
reset, and a 456 reset.
