I think your friend will mail the book to you. It will be on a CD and the
files will be in mp3 format.
Some people don't have the ability to read mp3 CD so they have to use
standard CD's and the files on them can be listened to on any CD player.
Some books are available on CD and some on mp3 CD. Some can be downloaded
directly from a web site.
