Hello David, as far as your questions. Yes sendspace is very good for sharing files on the internet with PC's. The MPower isn't able to download from sendspace but I know of one person who was able to download with an apex. Anyway, as far as the file splitter program, I know there's probably tuns of programs that offer file splitting. The one I personally use is a free program. It is the free addition of Win-Utilities.
It can be found at:
www.ylcomputing.com/content/view/327/135/
As far as the user-friendliness of the program, it is ok I guess. I use Window Eyes and I can access all of the features in Win-utilities by using the numeric keypad. I don't know how well it would work with other screan readers. Anyway, I hope this helps.

Sincerely,
John

Hi John, and Thanks very very much for your email.

A personal out-reach to you alone here.

(1) You mention it might be good to have my friend upload to
something like sendspace. Ok, I checked out this site on the
web, and see its terrific for groups of people with similar needs
who want to have access to large files of mutual interest. And I
see, too, that my friend's book, it's a new best seller self-help
title called Linchpin, by Seth Godin, is a candidate for the file
splitting capability of the sendspace site. I take it that
sendspace is helpful so far as retrieval by the PC is concerned,
right? Is that because the

(2) And it's only so far as my little Braille Note Empower is
concerned that a quote unquote "File Splitting program" comes
into play. Am I correct there?

(3) John, where Do I get the above file splitting program? Are
they expensive, hard to use, available on the web? Please
advise.

With much gratitude,

David
